Custom 16 Ply Maple 14" x 5.5" Snare Drum - Natural

This is a custom snare drum that one of our students built about a decade ago. It is made from two Keller maple shells (a 10 ply and a 6 ply) laminated into a 1/2" thick 16 ply shell. The hardware is all from a doner Mapex Black Panther snare drum. This is a really nice sounding drum; the thick shell gives plenty of projection while still retaing it's maple warmth.
