Canopus has dedicated itself to reproducing the original specifications of snare wire material of vintage snare wires of the 1960s. We chose to use a thin end plate (0.5mm), which provided a brisk and deep sound, suitable for delicate performance in acoustic ensemble settings. Without plating gives a dry and crisp sound.
