Gretsch VINTAGE '50s 3ply 4pc Shell Pack - Gold Glass Glitter

This is an interesting collection of Gretsch '50s 3 ply shells. The kit has been re-wrapped at some point in the past but the job is extremely well done; seams are tight and edges are properly filed. A few holes have been filled and there are some other oddities around the kit, but the kit has that classic Gretsch sound that only these shells give.

Not shown in photos: New Remo Classic Fit Ambassador heads have been installed on the toms and snare as well as a new batter head on the bass drum.

• 14" x 20" bass drum
  Holes for the cymbal mounting bracket have been plugged with the current bracket mounted just beside them. Modern bolts used for mounting the bracket. It does not appear that this shell was ever drilled for a rail mount. Unfinished interior. Tone control is functional.
• 9" x 13" tom
  This drum also appears to have never been drilled for a mounting plate. One unknown hole was filled on the interior. Silver sealer inside, but may have been re-painted.
• 16" x 16" floor tom
  3 ply reinforcement rings on this shell, which is typical of the period. One hole on each floor tom leg bracket was plugged, so the original placement may have been poorly done. Tone controls are missing, but the knobs are mounted to the shell.
• 6.5" x 14" snare drum
  Clear interior with some writing inside and a stamp from the original shop (no longer legible.) One hole is filled on the throwoff side, so this drum may have been fitted with a modern throwoff at some point. Unfinished interior.
