Hey there, sad news...we've shut down shop permanently. So you won't be able to score any drum gear via the website anymore.

I believe this is a '30s-era Premier Dominion Major model snare drum; The bottom hoop is marked as the "Ace" model, but the Ace has dual snare mechanisms so I believe this hoop is from a different drum.

New heads and snare wires have been installed. I believe the snare mechanism has been modified in the past with the addition of aluminum blocks to allow the use of modern snare wires, but I'm not 100% sure about that. The butt plate cover is missing. At some point this drum had decorative stripes added to the drum, which left some discoloration and indentations in the wrap. The tension rods have been replaced with modern square head versions for ease of tuning, but the original slotted rods are included as well.
