Walberg & Auge VINTAGE Perfection 4pc Bop Kit - Orange Glass Glitter

This is a great little bop kit made from what appears to be several individual Walberg & Auge Perfection series drums. This kit was re-wrapped at some point in the last 10 years and likely was a collection of individual components assembled to make this bop kit. The kit consists of Jasper (Gretsch) and Keller shells, and a mix of Rogers, Gretsch, and Walberg & Auge hardware. Orange Glass Glitter wrap and reproduction W&A badges (a copy of the late '70s version of their badge.) The edges were in really bad shape due to the heads being removed from the shells while they were stored over the past decade-plus, so I re-cut all new bearing edges on all the drums.

While I can't guarantee the W&A lineage of all the drums in this kit, all the drums are high-quality and assembled well, which still makes for a great-sounding bop and/or compact gigging kit! 

Kit includes:

• 8" x 12" tom
  This drum may be a recent recreation, as it appears to be a modern thin Keller 6ply maple shell. Black painted interior with modern 2.3mm triple flanged hoops. I added the new Gretsch bracket to this shell.
  
  
• 10" x 14" floor tom
  This shell appears to be a Jasper/Gretsch shell and likely is a true W&A drum since there are no additional holes in the shell. I added new legs and Gretsch brackets to the shell. Black painted interior, with modern 2.3mm triple flanged hoops. There were holes in the shell for a Rogers tone control, so a new Rogers tone control was added.
  
  
• 5" x 14" snare drum
  This one may be a modern Keller shell, but it is likely a '70s W&A creation using Keller shells from that era. Looks to be a 9-ply maple shell with 6-ply reinforcement rings. Black painted interior with modern 2.3mm triple flanged hoops. Ayotte Drum Smith throw-off and butt plate. 
  
  
• 16" x 18" bass drum
  This is a converted Jasper/Gretsch floor tom shell but appears to also be a W&A creation. I added the new Gretsch tom holder and cymbal holder to the shell to make the kit as functional as possible. The spurs appear to be Walberg & Auge. The bass drum hoops and claws all are modern. Bass drum lift included.
