The Gripped Thai stick has many more dowels than the Fatty Gripped, and is the wider of the two, yet is actually softer than its brother. The thinner, more numerous dowels in this stick actually offer more flex than the Fatty Gripped, while the larger diameter offers increased control. Both Thai sticks have rubber gripped handles and two control rings on the dowels for articulation control
