Sabian Crotale Mallets are available in two sizes and include black birch handles and white phenolic balls in either 7/8” or 1” diameter. The Fortissimo (61126) is the larger of the two versions and produces a slightly stronger fundamental tone and greater volume when compared to the Mezzoforte (61127) model which produces a less penetrating tone when striking a crotale with the same velocity.
